The WASH interventions of SASMO aim to provide clean and safe drinking water, sustainable sanitation facilities and hygiene promotion among the marginalized and minorities who mostly live in impoverished IDP settlements compared to their IDP counterparts which are often unidentified and neglected, not by the humanitarian agencies but gatekeepers who do not report the existence of such IDP camps. Improved water supply and sustainable sanitation management contributes to improved health and nutrition status of communities. SASMO undertakes the WASH interventions to achieve such results among the marginalized and minorities.
